BusinessThing is building connected event ticketing and ticket management software for independent organisers. The product brings the customer storefront, organiser operations and event-day entry into one coherent system.
Event Storefront combines a branded place to sell tickets with a Management Portal for events, orders, attendees, refunds, promotions, customer documents and reporting. The connected Event App handles QR ticket scanning, attendance, add-on fulfilment and supported in-person payments at the door.
BusinessThing is designed for independent organisers running festivals, workshops, intensives, community events, studio specials and recurring event brands. It is not limited to organisers in a single country.
Ticketing software should make the buyer experience feel like part of the event, keep operational information connected and explain its fees plainly. BusinessThing focuses on ticket sales, attendee management and event-day operations rather than claiming to replace every venue, production, speaker or marketing tool an organiser may use.
BusinessThing is provided by HumanKindly (ABN 93 140 434 991), based in South Australia. The product is currently in private early access while we work closely with its first organisers.
